These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the services provided by Dave's Shoe Repair Incorporated, doing business as Dave's Leather Care ("we," "us," or "our"). By using our services or website, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
By accessing our website, contacting us for services, or bringing items to our facility, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.
Dave's Leather Care provides professional leather cleaning, repair, restoration, and related services including but not limited to:
All estimates are provided free of charge and are valid for 30 days. Final pricing may vary based on the actual condition of items and services required. We will contact you for approval before performing any work that exceeds the original estimate by more than 20%.
By leaving items with us for service, you authorize us to perform the agreed-upon work. You represent that you are the owner of the items or have proper authorization to have them serviced.
Completed items will be held for 90 days at no charge. After 90 days, a storage fee of $5 per week will be applied. Items not claimed within 180 days may be disposed of at our discretion.
Items must be picked up by the person who dropped them off or their authorized representative. Photo identification may be required. Pickup receipts must be presented when available.
While we use professional techniques and quality materials, we cannot provide absolute results for all items. Factors beyond our control include:
You acknowledge that leather cleaning and restoration involves inherent risks, including but not limited to color changes, texture alterations, or structural changes. We will discuss potential risks before beginning work on valuable or delicate items.

We maintain general liability insurance for our operations. For items with declared values over $500, additional insurance coverage is available for an additional fee.

You may cancel services before work begins for a full refund. Once work has commenced, cancellation fees may apply based on work completed and materials used.
Approved refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days using the original payment method when possible.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to conflict of law principles.
In the event of a dispute, we encourage direct communication to resolve issues. If direct resolution is not possible, disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in Jefferson County, Colorado, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
We are not liable for delays or failures in performance resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government actions, labor disputes, or supply chain disruptions.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
